Viviane Schönbächler

Curriculum Vitae

 

Viviane studied International Relations and Peace and Conflict Studies at the Universities of Geneva, Beirut and Castellón. She conducted various short-term trainings in communication for peace, non-violent communication, and conflict-sensitive journalism. She also worked with several grassroots humanitarian organizations based in Turkey and Lebanon from 2013 to 2016. Latest, she worked with Eirene International in Burkina Faso in the area of conflict-sensitive journalism (2016-2018).

 

Research Focus and Interests 

 

Her research interests include conflict transformation, gender media studies, gender in development as well as media and peace.
